Planning your response to a disaster

Preparing Your CERT and Home Go Bags

Addressed in this interactive Show and Tell Presentation will be on the making of a good CERT pack, how it should be worn and being able to carry it in responding to a disaster. Also discussed is Emergency Home Go Bags, in light of the recent fires where people had to leave at a moment’s notice, what things should be prepared and included in their packs. Jeff will also present new prep toys on the market for safety and family protection.

As a bonus, you will be able to purchase emergency supplies and equipment. Bring extra cash, check or a credit card, Please also bring your CERT packs to see what things you should add to it.

So please come and invite your friends, family and neighborhood to this important presentation.

We will also take sign-ups for help in our upcoming CERT community outreaches, trainings, logistics and meetings. We need all of YOU to help TRI-CITY CERT to help prepare our local communities for a disaster whether natural or man made.

Refreshments will be served following the exercise.
