Our Mission

TRI-CITY Community Emergency Response Team Association is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization created to enhance disaster preparedness and emergency response for the citizens of Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthorne, and South Bay, California.

We accomplish this through participation in community awareness events, various training programs, and drills. We also provide volunteer support to the fire and police departments upon activation.

Our vision is to train residents to be prepared in the event of a disaster. We want them to be deployable resources who can assist with emergency services upon request.

1. CERT Community Outreach Team

You can help with disaster preparedness activities and staff CERT booths in community events.

2. TRI-CITY CERT Disaster Response Team

You can be part of a CERT response team that can be deployed in a disaster by a city agency. We need CERT members who would like to help the community when a disaster happens. Special training is provided.
